7th Pay Commission: The wait of central government employees is likely to end as they are expected to get dearness allowance under the 7th Pay Commission . Reports say that an announcement may be made soon and the central employees will get their DA by the end of this month.


The festive season has started in the country. After the Ganesh festival is over, the festivals of Navratri, Dussehra, Dhanteras, Diwali and Bhaiya Dooj will be celebrated. In such a situation, the dearness allowance (DA) of central employees is expected to increase from 34 percent to 38 percent in this festive season. The government may increase the dearness allowance by about 4%.

7th Pay Commission will benefit these employees

With the increase of 4% in the dearness allowance of the government, its direct benefit can be more than 48 lakh central employees and more than 68 lakh pensioners. Along with this, media reports are also claiming that the employees can get the increased salary from October 1, 2022. Looking at the June data of All India Consumer Price Index , the government can increase dearness allowance by at least 4%.

Recently , the notification of Department of Expenditure is becoming very fast on social media. It was being claimed in this notification that the government had taken a decision on increasing dearness allowance on 23 August 2022. But this news is completely fake. The Press Information Bureau said that the government has not taken any such decision so far.

7th Pay Commission Salary can increase by how much?

At present, central employees are getting 34% dearness allowance. If the government raises it to 4 per cent, it will become 38 per cent. In such a situation, if your minimum basic salary is Rs 18,000, then your total DA will be Rs 6,840 and total profit will be Rs 720 per month. At the same time, the maximum salary of Rs 54,000, Rs 56,000 will get Rs 27,312 as DM on the basic pay. In this, you will get a total benefit of Rs 2,276 per month.
