What will be the new formula to promote the government and increase the salary?

Automatic pay revision system will be considered!

In the recent past, there have been many such reports, in which it has been claimed that after the 7th Pay Commission, the next pay commission will not come. but it’s not like that. 8th pay commission will be applicable. At present, its deadline has not been decided. However, the government can change the rules of promotion. Auto revision pay-system can be introduced for promotion, in which Dearness Allowance (DA) will be promoted on its own if 50%. The grades of the lower level employees will increase.

Action will start after 2024

Former Assistant General Secretary (Assistant Secretary General) of All India Audit and Accounts Association Harishankar Tiwari told Zee Business, the system of Pay Commission is in place for a long time. But, it is not necessary that pay commission is the only option for promotion and increase in salary. The government should think towards the new system. There may be different criteria for promotion. Any action on the new pay commission will start after 2024. Till then the promotions will continue with the existing system.

Salary of employees should be revised from time to time

The recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission were approved on 28 June 2016. Under this, the minimum salary of central employees was increased from Rs 7000 to Rs 18000. In its recommendations, the 7th Pay Commission had also said that the government should revise the salary of employees not only once in 10 years but from time to time.

Basic was less in 6th pay scale

According to experts, the basic pay at the entry level in the sixth pay scale was Rs 7000 (pay band 5200 + grade pay 1800). At the same time, DA was available at 125% i.e. more DA was made than the basic. Including the rest of the allowances and deductions, the employee used to get Rs 14,757 a month. But, after the implementation of the 7th pay scale (7th Pay Commission), there was an increase in the gross pay. But, DA was revised and reduced. At present, central employees are getting 34% dearness allowance. From September, you will get 38 percent dearness allowance.
