They are taking salaries under the Seventh Pay Commission and have announced promotions for Defense Ministry employees. If media reports are to be believed, the government has also issued a notification for this. According to the information of Defense Ministry, promotion list has been released for defense civilian employees. In this, the period of service has also been revised.
Service should be this much for promotion-
Regarding promotion of employees, the Ministry has said in the notification that it is necessary to have different work experience for different levels. For Level 1 to 2, three years of experience is required. 3 years of experience for Level 1 to 3, 3 to 8 years of experience for Level 2 to 4. Similarly, employees up to level 17 will be given promotion if they have experience of 1 year to 12 years.
Criteria have been made according to the level-
Promotion criteria have been fixed for each level. Apart from this, grade wise list has also been shared. On the basis of this, employees will be given promotion. According to the information received from the Defense Ministry, this new update is considered to be implemented immediately. This means that according to this qualification, employees will be promoted with immediate effect. However, it has not been clarified by the ministry as to how much promotion will be given to the employees.
Dearness allowance will increase soon-
The central government may soon give the gift of increase in DA to the employees. DA may be announced in the cabinet meeting to be held in the month of September. This will benefit lakhs of employees and pensioners. This year, dearness allowance will be announced by the government for the second time, after which there will be a bumper increase in the salary of the employees. The increased dearness allowance will be considered applicable from July 1, 2023.
