After the new announcement, there has been an increase of 14 per cent in the DA Hike of the employees, which has created a lot of enthusiasm among them.
After the DA hike of the employees (DA Hike Update), now there has been a bumper increase in their salary. But let us tell you that this announcement has been made only for the employees of Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs). The DA of these employees has been amended at the end of January.
How much Dearness Allowance (DA)
Under Secretary Samuel Haque said, “The DA rates for CPSEs at the board level and below board level officers and supervisors have been revised. The rate of DA to officers and non-federal supervisors of CPSEs under the 2007 pay scale has now been reduced to 184.1%. Till now he was getting 170.5% DA. In July 2021, the government announced an increase in dearness allowance. After this, there was a direct jump of 11 percent in the DA of central employees under the 7th Pay Commission. At the same time, the DA of 2007 pay scales in CPSEs was also increased.
There was also a bumper increase in the past
It is worth noting that there was a significant increase in the DA of the employees of CPSEs last year as well. If we look at the previous dearness allowance, in July 2021, his dearness allowance had increased directly from 159.9% to 170.5%. That is, about 11 percent was increased in DA. Note that this new rate of DA will be applicable in the case of Industrial Dearness Allowance employees. Government employees are fixed their DA on the basis of salary. Not only this, the rate of dearness allowance is different for the employees working in urban, semi-urban and rural areas.
