New Delhi: A big update has been issued regarding the outstanding DA arrears of central employees. The central government has recently shared information about this. The central government can give great news to the central employees on the occasion of Holi. According to media reports, the central government can do one time settlement of the outstanding DA arrears of the employees. If this happens, then the DA arrears of 18 months can be transferred to the account of the employees simultaneously.

CBT meeting will be held soon regarding DA arrears

Due to the outbreak of Corona epidemic in the last two years, the Central Government had banned an arrears from January 2020 to June 2021. According to Shiv Gopal Mishra, secretary of the National Council of JCM regarding DA arrears, a meeting of JCM can be held soon with the officials of DoPT, Ministry of Finance and Department of Expenditure. The outstanding DA arrears can be discussed in detail in this meeting.

So much money will come in the account

If the central government makes one time settlement of the arrears of DA arrears, then different amounts will be released for different levels of employees. If you are a Level 1 employee, your DA arrears range between Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554. On the other hand, if you are a Level 13 employee, then your DA arrears range from Rs 1,23,100 to Rs 2,15,900. Apart from this, if you are a Level 14 employee, then your DA arrears from Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200 are made.

Dearness allowance may increase

Along with DA arrears, the central government can also increase the DA received by central employees on the occasion of Holi. At present, central employees are getting dearness allowance at the rate of 31 percent. The central government can increase it by 3 percent. After this DA will increase to 34 percent. This increased rate of dearness allowance will be applicable from January 1, 2022, in this context, the employees can get an increase in salary from the month of March.
