New Delhi : The central government can soon make a big announcement regarding the outstanding DA of central employees. An amount of two lakh rupees can be transferred in the account of the employees soon.

Employees will get a gift on the new year

On the occasion of New Year, the government can take a big decision regarding dearness allowance outstanding for 18 months of central employees. If media reports are to be believed, then the government can soon transfer this amount to the account of central employees.

It is worth noting that in the year 2019, during the Corona period, the central government had stopped the installments of dearness allowance. In the last year, the central government had decided to release the outstanding installments of the employees. Along with this, the rate of dearness allowance was increased to 31 percent.

According to Shiv Gopal Mishra, secretary of the National Council of Joint Consultative Machinery (JCM), the government can make a one-time settlement of the arrears of dearness allowance.

Lakhs of rupees will be transferred in the account

If the central government simultaneously transfers the arrears of dearness allowance in the account of the employees, then lakhs of rupees can be credited in their account.

According to a report, there are 48 lakh central employees and about 60 lakh pensioners in the country at present.

If we talk about Level 1 employees, then dearness allowance is made between Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554. But on the other hand, if we talk about level 13 employees, then their basic pay is made between Rs 1,23,100 to Rs 2,15,900.

On the other hand, if we talk about level 14 employees, then Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200 can be credited to their account as arrears of dearness allowance.
