7th Pay Commission: Big news! Huge increase in DA of government employees, big arrears will be available in cash, know details

After the voting for the by-elections in the state is over, the state government has given a gift to the employees. It has been announced by the government to increase Dearness Allowance by 3 percent.

Two lakh employees will benefit

Two lakh employees and 1.25 lakh pensioners will get the benefit of the decision taken by the government. The government has said to implement this change from January 1, 2022. The increased DA will be given to the employees in the salary of June. It was told by the government that the employees taking the seventh pay scale will now be given 34 percent dearness allowance every month instead of 31.

DA of these employees will increase by 13 percent

The regular payment of the increased dearness allowance will be with the salary received in June. It was also informed that the payment of enhanced Dearness Allowance (January 1 to April 30) would be made in cash to the employees. Apart from this, the DA of employees and pensioners taking salary under the sixth pay scale has increased by 7 percent. Such employees will now get 203 percent DA instead of 196.

Under the Fifth Pay Commission, the maximum increase of 13 percent has been made in the DA of the employees taking salary. He used to get 368 percent DA till now. But now 381 percent DA will be increased.
