Family pension has been revised

The Department of Pension and Pension Welfare (DoPW) has recently revised the family pension to the employees.

According to the new rules, if both the parents of the children in a family are central employees, then they will be given Rs 1.25 lakh as family pension.

Apart from this, in many situations, 30 percent of the maximum salary of Rs 2.5 lakh i.e. Rs 75,000 can also be given as family pension.

Know what is the new rule of family pension

After the implementation of the Seventh Pay Commission for central employees, the maximum salary limit for employees has been increased to Rs 2.5 lakh.

After this, keeping in mind the maximum salary limit, the Department of Pension and Pension Welfare (DoPW) has also changed the rules related to family pension.



After the new changes, the maximum limit of family pension available to employees has been increased to Rs 75,000 per month and Rs 1.25 lakh per month.

This is great news for the central employees on the occasion of festival. Along with the increase in family pension, the rules for compensation to the family of the employees have also been announced.

If the employee has made someone his nominee during the job, then he will be given the amount of compensation. If the employee has not made anyone his nominee, then the compensation amount will be divided equally among the family members of the employee.
