If the news going on in the media is to be believed then in the year 2023 the DA hike of central employees can be done. According to an estimate, the dearness allowance of central employees can be increased by 3-5 percent.

DA Hike happened in Diwali

Let us inform that the government had hiked the DA of the government employees before Diwali. However, government employees are still waiting for DA arrears of 18 months. The government had increased DA and DR by 4 percent in the month of September before Diwali. This benefited 48 lakh central government employees and 68 lakh pensioners of the country. At present, central employees are getting the benefit of dearness allowance at the rate of 38 per cent.

DA Hike of this much percent in 2023

The government is planning to hike DA again next year in March 2023. According to the news going on in the media, DA hike of up to 3-5 percent can be done. If this increase happens, then the dearness allowance of the employees will increase to 43 percent. Due to this, a substantial increase in the salary of central employees is also expected.

How much will the salary increase

Central employees will get the gift of dearness allowance in the year 2023. According to the news, the increase in dearness allowance will be announced in March 2023 around Holi. If the dearness allowance is increased by 4 per cent, then after the increase the dearness allowance will reach 42 per cent. Due to which there will be a total increase of Rs 720 per month on the minimum basic salary.

Whereas, for the maximum salary range, this increase will be at the rate of Rs 2276 per month. Actually, the Labor Ministry has released the figures of All India Consumer Price Index-Industrial Workers (AICPI). This figure has been at 131.2 in September. There has been a total increase of 2.1 percent in the AICPI index till September 2022 as compared to June. Compared to August last month, there is a jump of 1.1 percent.
