Salaries of 650 employees of Bihar’s two corporations Handloom and Handicrafts were pending since 1997. Employees of some State Drugs and Chemicals Corporations were also involved in this. During this, the minister said that the government will soon release the salaries of other employees. He said that the government in Bihar will convert the hopes of setting up industries into hopes.

During a program organized at Udyog Bhawan in Patna, the Industries Minister said that the government is trying to set up new industries in Bihar. Apart from this, the government is also thinking about the revival of old industries and entrepreneurs. In the coming time, the pace of establishment of industries in Bihar will be fast.

During this program, he said that many people had given up hope of getting salary and many have become old in waiting. The Minister said that during the first installment an amount of 25 crores was given and today an amount of 55 crores has been given to 650 personnel.

This amount has been sent directly to the accounts of 650 employees of Bihar State Handloom and Handicraft Corporation and Bihar Raj Medicinal and Chemical Corporation. He said that due to the efforts of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, after 25 years, the salary of lakhs has been given to the employees. During this, he informed that after collecting the documents of the remaining employees, their salary will also be sent directly to the account.

Let us inform that earlier, the salary of 280 employees of Bihar State Drugs and Chemicals Development Corporation was released in two installments of Rs 34.93 crore and Rs 46 crore for 370 employees of Bihar State Handloom and Handicrafts Corporation.
