7th pay commission: Big gift to 3.5 lakh employees, DA-HRA benefit given, now 15% salary increment, know details

7th pay commission: After increasing dearness allowance of government employees, now the state government has given them an increment of 15 percent in the salary. Increased salary will be given in January 2022.



7th pay commission: Teachers of primary school have got a big gift. After the central government, the Bihar government has also increased dearness allowance and HRA to its employees. Under the 7th Pay Commission (7th CPC), the state government has announced to increase the salary by 15 percent. More than 3.5 lakh teachers and librarians of secondary and higher secondary schools from primary schools in the state’s Panchayati Raj and municipal bodies will benefit from this. The salary hike has been implemented from 1st April 2021. On January 1, 2022, the increased salary will be credited in their accounts.

The rule of increment in grade pay will be applicable

The Education Department of Bihar State has issued instructions regarding this. According to the state government, the employees will also be given an increase in Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) and Medical Allowance. The rule of increment in grade pay will also be applicable. After getting the benefit to the teachers, the salary of teachers who have completed 2 years in primary to senior secondary schools will increase from about Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000.



After the official notification, the process of salary assessment of teachers will start and from January 1, the increased salary will be paid. Earlier in July, the government had reinstated Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) and increased the rate of allowance from 17 per cent to 28 per cent.

Central government increased DA

In October, the central government had announced to increase the DA of all central employees from 28 percent to 31 percent. Dearness allowance and dearness relief were increased by 3 percent. Due to this, more than 47.14 lakh central government employees and 68.62 lakh pensioners had benefited. The increase in dearness allowance by 3 percent will cost the government exchequer Rs 9,488 crore annually.
