The Nitish Government of Bihar has given a big relief to the 7th Pay Commission employees. In fact, 650 employees of two corporations Handloom and Handicrafts have been paid the last Arrears after 25 years.



For 25 years, the workers of handloom and handicrafts were demanding arrears. These arrears were pending since 1997. Finally, after 25 years, a total of Rs 80 crore of the first and second installments of salary has been sent to the employees after getting the permission of Minister Shahnawaz Hussain. The same minister says that the government will soon release the salaries of other employees.

In this matter, Industries Minister Shahnawaz Hussain said that preparations are being made to set up new industries in Bihar, which will be revived by the entrepreneurs. At the same time, with the establishment of industry in Bihar, where development work will get momentum. The same entrepreneurs will also provide employment to the people.

Earlier, the salary of 280 employees of Bihar State Drugs and Chemicals Development Corporation was released to 370 employees of Bihar State Handloom and Handicrafts Corporation in two installments of Rs 34.93 crore and Rs 46 crore.


In the program Shahnawaz Hussain said that all the 600 employees of two corporation handloom and handicrafts had given up hope of getting salary. In the first installment, their arrears have been paid by giving them an amount of 25 crores and now a huge relief is being given to 650 employees by giving 55 crores.

Hussain said that after the efforts of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, finally after 25 years, a total of Rs 80 crore has been distributed in the accounts of 650 employees of Bihar Raj Drugs and Chemicals Corporation including Handloom and Handicrafts Corporation. Soon after collecting the documents of other employees, their salary will be deposited in their account.
