7th Pay commission: Giving the gift of Diwali to its employees, the central government has announced to increase the TA given to them. The increase in travel allowance has happened in two ways.



New Delhi: 7th Pay commission: The central government has given another big gift to its employees before Diwali. Last month, the central government had decided to hike the DA of the employees working inside it. Now the central employees have got another big gift from the government.

Increased TA of central employees

Giving the gift of Diwali to its employees, the central government has announced to increase the TA (Travel Allowance) given to them. The increase in travel allowance has happened in two ways. With the increase in the first DA, his total travel allowance has increased. At the same time, central employees will now get a chance to travel in Tejas train apart from Rajdhani and Duronto Express. Meaning their traveling grade has been increased.

Government employees get travel allowance

Government employees are given allowance for their travel. This is part of his salary and revision is done along with DA Hike. The effect of DA Hike is visible on TA. Recently, the dearness allowance was increased by 4 percent. The total DA has increased to 38 percent.

How much is TA

There has also been an increase in ks yeo travel allowance with dearness allowance being 38 percent. The travel is Rs 1350 for level 1-2 cities, Rs 3600 for level 3-8 cities and Rs 7200 for level 9 and above. The rate of transport allowance available to employees of any one category is the same. Just the dearness allowance they get is added to it.

Level 9 and above employees get DA with transport allowance of Rs 7,200 for cities with higher transport allowance. For other cities this allowance is Rs 3,600 and DA. Similarly, employees from level 3 to 8 get 3,600 plus DA and 1,800 plus DA. Talking about Level 1 and 2, Rs 1,350 more is available for first class cities in this category, while for other cities Rs 900 and DA is available.
