7th Pay Commission: After 3% DA Hike, salary of the employees increased by up to Rs 8000 per month, know the complete calculation

7th Pay Commission: The Central Government has given a big gift of Diwali (Diwali 2021) to the employees by increasing the Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief (DR) by 3 percent. After this decision, central employees will get 31 percent DA (DA Hike). This decision of the government will benefit 1 crore employees and pensioners.


Dearness allowance will be applicable from July 1

According to media reports, this dearness allowance will be applicable from July 1, 2021. It is possible that the dearness allowance of central employees and pension of pensioners should be included in the salary coming before Diwali. Dearness Allowance is calculated on the basic salary. Due to this increase, the central employees have got relief. In fact, since the release of the All India Consumer Price Index (AICPI) data for January to May 2021, DA was expected to increase by 3 percent. The employees were also demanding to increase the DA after the release of these figures.

So receiving money

if your basic salary of Rs 20 thousand have received Rs to 6200, according to 31 per cent DA. In July last year, dearness allowance was raised from 17 per cent to 28 per cent. Earlier, DA of Rs 3400 was being given at the rate of 17 per cent. That is, there will be a benefit of Rs 2800 per month in your dearness allowance as compared to July.

similarly, if your basic salary is Rs 56,900, then according to 31 percent, you will get Rs 17,639 per month as DA. At the same time, annually you will get Rs 2.11 lakh as DA. Earlier, employees with basic salary of Rs 56900 were getting DA of Rs 9673 at the rate of 17 per cent. That is, his DA has increased by Rs 7966 per month as compared to July 2021.
