Will the fitment factor increase to 3.68?

An announcement may soon be made by the government on increasing the fitment factor of central and state employees. According to media reports, due to the change in the fitment factor, the minimum salary of the employees will increase. Several employee unions have requested that the government increase the fitment factor from 2.57 to 3.68 per cent.

Will the arrears come up to 2 lakhs?

According to sources, one time settlement of up to Rs 2 lakh as arrears of dearness allowance can be given by the Union Cabinet. If this is agreed, then 18 months DA arrears will come in the account of the employees.

Even on basic pay

If the fitment factor of employees is increased from 2.57 percent to 3.68 percent on behalf of the government, then it will increase the basic pay. On increasing the fitment factor, the minimum salary of the employees will increase by Rs. That is, the salary of Rs 18000 will increase to Rs 26000.

DA will increase by 34 percent!

The DA of central employees can be increased from 3% to 34% by the government. According to media reports, the government can make an official announcement about this before Holi. The Odisha State Government has also increased the DA and DR of the employees.

Himachal government increased DA

An increase in DA has been announced by the Himachal Pradesh government on January 31. State Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur had ordered to give 3 percent additional DA to the employees. The government had ordered to give additional dearness allowance from July 1, 2021. It will be given along with the salary due on March 1 of the month of February.
