According to media reports, the government is likely to take a decision regarding the fitment factor, according to the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission, the salary of the employees is determined by the allowances, basic salary and fitment factor, due to these factors the central government The salary of the employees increases by more than two and a half times, as per the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission, at present the fitment factor is 2.57. Assuming that the basic salary of a central government employee is Rs 18 thousand, then excluding allowances, his salary will be Rs 18 thousand X 2.57 i.e. Rs 46,260. On the other hand, if fitment 3 is assumed, then the salary will be 26 thousand rupees X 3 i.e. 78 thousand rupees.



According to media reports, JCM Secretary Shiv Gopal Mishra says that the central government employees have not yet received the arrears for the last 18 months, while there is no concrete decision on the part of the government to increase the fitment factor. It has been taken, experts say that if the fitment factor becomes 3 then the employees will get a big benefit from it. The central government has been demanding for a long time to increase the fitment factor.
