7th Central Pay Commission Today Update: Before the festival of Raksha Bandhan, central government employees can get great news. It is expected that in the first week of August, the government can give a big gift by announcing a hike in DA. In view of the high level of inflation in the country, it is believed that the dearness allowance of the employees can be increased by up to 4 percent (DA by 4%).

7th Pay Commission: Decision possible in the first week of August

According to media reports, a decision can be taken on increasing the DA of central employees (DA Hike Update) in the cabinet meeting to be held in the first week of next month. The Dearness Allowance (DA) given to the employees is increased twice a year. This year’s first hike has been done and now the way has been cleared for the second hike. Let us tell you that the government had increased the DA by 3 percent (DA 3%) this year. Thereafter, the dearness allowance was increased from 31 per cent to 34 per cent.

Inflation at high level

The inflation rate in the country has consistently remained above the standards set by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has fixed the inflation rate standard at 2 to 6 percent. Whereas the retail inflation rate standard is 7.01 percent. In order to provide relief to the central employees in this rising inflation, the Modi government can take the decision of DA Hike. However, no official announcement has been made by the government so far regarding the increase in DA.

Dearness allowance will be 38 percent

All India Consumer Price Index (AICPI) figures play an important role in the dearness allowance of central employees and on the basis of these the decision to increase DA is taken. Media reports released in this regard have raised the possibility that the government may increase the DA of the employees by at least 4 percent (DA Hike 4 Percent). After this increase, DA will increase from 34 per cent to 38 per cent.

Another hike with DA

Central government employees can soon get double happiness. Actually, where on one hand the government can increase the DA (DA Hike) of the employees. At the same time, there is also a possibility that a big announcement can be made regarding the increase in the fitment factor. If this happens then the central government employees will be battling on the festival of Raksha Bandhan, because their salary will go up drastically..

Can increase the fitment factor

Central employees along with DA have been demanding for a long time that their fitment factor should also be increased. At present it is 2.57 per cent, which is being tried to increase to 3.68 per cent. Earlier reports were expected that a decision on the fitment factor of the employees may come before the start of the new financial year, but it did not happen. Now with the expectation of DA hike once again, discussion on this item has also started.

Calculation on maximum salary at 4% DA

If the government decides to increase DA by 4 percent, then there will be a huge increase in the salary of central employees. If we look at the calculation, then according to the maximum basic pay of Rs 56,900, 34 percent DA is Rs 19,346. If it is increased by 4 per cent then the DA at 38 per cent (DA at 38 per cent) will be Rs 21,622. That is, the salary will increase by Rs 2,276 per month and will get about Rs 27,312 more annually.

This much profit on minimum wage at 4% DA

Calculate the increase in DA on the minimum basic salary, then if the basic salary of an employee is Rs 18,000, then his dearness allowance increases by 34 percent to Rs 6,120. At the same time, according to 38 percent, it will increase to Rs 6,840. The DA that government employees get is part of their financial support salary structure. If this decision is approved, then 50 lakh central employees along with 65 lakh pensioners will get the benefit.
