7th Central Pay Commission: Employees will get increased family pension up to Rs 2.5 lakh, know new updates

The benefit of this new amendment will be applicable to those child/children whose parents are both employees of the Ministry of Defense and come under the purview of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC).



The Ministry of Defense (Ministry of Defense, Government of India) has increased the maximum limit of family pension, after which the highest salary of the employees has increased to Rs 2.5 lakh per month. According to media reports, if the parents of the child If both are government employees, then a family pension of Rs 1.25 lakh will be available every month. At the same time, 30 percent of 2.5 lakh salary i.e. Rs 75,000 will be given as family pension to many children. In the case of employees of the Armed Forces, this decision will be effective from January 01, 2016.

According to media reports, recently the Ministry of Defense has increased the maximum limit of two family pensions given to the child or children in respect of parents according to the 7th Pay Commission. Under this, after 7th CPC. The maximum pension payment in government service has been revised to Rs 2.5 lakh per month. The Ministry has implemented this order with effect from January 1, 2016 in respect of personnel of the Armed Forces with an order dated October 29, 2021.
