18 crore PAN card holders did not do this work, 7 months of deferment

Statistics released by the central government show that about 18 crore PAN cards of the country are not linked to Aadhaar. According to the data, 32.71 crore permanent account numbers (PANs) have been added so far from the biometric identity card.



At the same time, 50.95 crore PANs have been allocated till 29 June. This means that even around 18 crore PAN cards are not linked to Aadhaar. If you too are included in this list, then you have only 7 months of deferment.

Actually, in view of the Corona crisis in the past, the government had pushed forward many important deadlines related to finance. One of these deadlines is PAN and Aadhaar linking.



Now by 31 March 2021, it has been granted to link PAN and Aadhaar. According to Income Tax Department, if PAN is not added to Aadhaar within the stipulated period, it will become inactive.

Method
of linking- First of all, you have to go to income tax website incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in.
– Here on the left side you will see the option of Aadhaar link.



After this, a new page will open, on top of which click here will be written in red.
– If you have already linked your PAN and Aadhaar, then its status can be verified by clicking on it.

– If linking is not done, then in the box below click here, PAN, Aadhaar number, your name and the given captcha will have to be entered.



– Please tell that by sending an SMS to 567678 or 56161, you can get information about the status of the link from PAN to Aadhaar.
