Prime Minister Narendra Modi has released a 100 rupee coin in her name in honor of Vijay Raje Scindia, one of the founding members of the BJP.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has released a 100 rupee coin in her name in honor of Vijay Raje Scindia, one of the founding members of the BJP. Modi launched a commemorative coin specially printed on the occasion of her centenary at a virtual event on Monday morning. On this occasion, Modi said that Rajmata (Vijayaraja Scindia) had proved that it was more important to serve the people (Jan Satta) than to keep power in the guts (Raj Satta). He further said that the Queen Mother witnessed important political events from the independence struggle to the decades leading up to independence.

Princess Scindia is said to be one of the leading politicians who has shown a direction to India in the last 60 years. Modi said she was a decisive leader. She recalled that her experience was great, from firing foreign dress before independence to the Rama Mandir agitation. She said that she worked hard for Ramajanmabhoomi. She said that she was happy that her dream would come true on her centenary.




“Vijayaraja Scindia .. Although a member of the dynasty, she spent many important years in prison. During the Emergency, she wrote letters to her daughters from prison.

Earlier this year, Jyotiraditya Scindia, grandson of Vijaya Raje Scindia, left the Congress for decades and joined the Congress. Jyotiraditya Scindia (current BJP MLA Yashodhara Raje (daughter of Vijayaraje Scindia, aunt of Jyotiraditya Scindia)) said that she joined the BJP for national interests.
