IMD Alert: According to the latest update from the Meteorological Department, the rain will continue in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura for the next 5 days.

Due to a change in weather, rain fell on Monday (October 6, 2025) in many areas of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, including the national capital, Delhi. Rain is also expected in many areas on Tuesday. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi will remain cloudy on Tuesday, with light to moderate rain expected at some places.

According to the latest update from the Meteorological Department, rain will continue for the next five days in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. In addition, heavy rain warnings have been issued for several parts of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh in South India until October 10.

Rain and strong winds are expected in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday (October 7). Western Uttar Pradesh is expected to receive more rainfall than eastern Uttar Pradesh during this period. The Meteorological Department predicts that the intensity of rainfall will begin to decrease from October 7th, while rainfall is expected to cease completely in western Uttar Pradesh from October 8th and in eastern Uttar Pradesh from October 9th. After this, the state’s weather is expected to return to dry and normal.

According to the IMD, moderate to light rain with thundershowers is likely in Varanasi, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Ghazipur, Jaunpur, Sitapur, Ambedkar Nagar, Basti, Ayodhya, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Sitapur, Barabanki, Lakhimpur Kheri, Hardoi, Kannauj, Auraiya, Badaun, Bareilly, Rampur, Sambhal and Moradabad on Tuesday.

According to the Meteorological Department, lightning and light to moderate rain are expected in many parts of Bihar over the next two to three days. Rain and lightning are also likely in northeastern Bihar and nearby areas.

Hailstorms and heavy rain were recorded at several places in Rajasthan, while heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected to continue in eastern Rajasthan. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon withdrawal process will progress over the next 3-4 days.
