The visa integrity fee wi ll be $250 i.e. around Rs 22000. After this, the total cost of getting an American visa has been said to be around $442 i.e. around Rs 40,000. There has been a decline in Indian tourists

According to the US Travel Association, the number of passengers traveling from India to America will decrease further due to the increase in visa fees. So far, a decline of 2.5 percent has already been registered in it, while the number of Indian students has seen a decrease of 18 percent this year, which is also a matter of concern for American colleges.

Lack of international students in American universities American colleges and universities have been dependent on foreign students for a long time. But Trump’s strict policies and strict rules for foreign students have worsened the situation.

You will also have to fill a bond

Not only this, the Trump administration has also decided to implement a bond plan of $15,000 (about ₹12.5 lakh) to control visa duration. This bond can be applied to student visas, cultural exchange visitors and media personnel. This bond can also be applied to those taking tourist and business visas. Its pilot project has started from August 20, its goal is that people do not stay in America beyond the visa period.

Tourism will be affected

This new fee and the requirement of a bond can prove to be a big challenge for Indians. On one hand, the visa fee is going to increase to around Rs 40,000, on the other hand, if the bond system is implemented, people may have to deposit lakhs of rupees more.

This will have a direct impact not only on ordinary tourists and business travelers, but also on Indian students who want to go to America for higher education. Experts say that this move will not only affect Indians, but will also have a negative impact on the American travel industry. Due to the decrease in the number of foreign tourists, hotels, airlines and the entire tourism sector may have to suffer huge losses.
