In such a situation, many countries have made visa free for Indian travelers or there are some countries which allow Indian citizens to get visa on arrival. In some of these foreign destinations, Indians can stay without visa for 14 days, while in some countries they can stay for 90 or 120 days. 20 countries allowing visa free travel for Indian citizens
Many countries provide visa free travel facility for Indian passport holders. Here is a list of 20 countries where Indian citizens can travel without a visa-
1. Bhutan
Bhutan allows visa-free travel to Indian citizens but you need an entry permit to enter, which you can easily obtain on arrival.
2. Nepal
Indian travellers do not need a visa to enter Nepal. They can travel to Nepal by showing their identity card. There is also no time limit or duration for their visit. They can stay in Nepal as long as they want.
3. Mauritius
Indian citizens do not need a visa to promote tourism in Mauritius. Tourists can travel without a visa for 90 days. However, a visa is required for business or long-term stay.
4. Maldives
Maldives allows Indian citizens visa-free travel for up to 60 days. Here travelers do not need to take a visa in advance, but can get it after arrival.
5. Seychelles
Seychelles is visa free for Indian citizens. There is no need to get a visa before traveling here, rather you will get a visitor permit on arrival which will allow you to stay for three months i.e. 90 days.
6. Fiji
You can travel to Fiji without a visa for four months i.e. 120 days. However, if you want to stay in Fiji for more than this, then you will have to get a proper visa.
7. Dominica
Indian citizens can stay in Dominica without a visa for up to 6 months. This facility is available to Indian citizens going for tourism, travel or business.
8. Grenada
Indian passport holders do not require a visa to enter Grenada. You can stay in Grenada without a visa for up to 90 days.
9. Barbados
Indian citizens can travel to Barbados without a visa. They can stay in Barbados without a visa for 90 days.
10. Thailand
Thailand now offers visa-free travel facility for Indian citizens. This facility allows tourists to stay in Thailand without a visa for up to 60 days and an extension of up to 30 days is also possible at the immigration office if needed
11. Sri Lanka
From October 1, 2024, citizens of 35 countries including India will not require a visa to enter Sri Lanka. This policy will be in effect for 6 months i.e. Indians can now stay in Sri Lanka for up to 6 months without a visa.
12. Indonesia
Indian citizens may be eligible for visa-on-arrival for up to 30 days, which means they can get a visa upon arriving in Indonesia.
13. Macau
Indian citizens staying in Macau for less than 30 days do not require a visa. For stays longer than 30 days, they will have to obtain a visa from the Chinese embassy or consulate.
14. Jamaica
Indian tourists can travel to Jamaica without a visa. Indian citizens can avail visa-free entry to Jamaica for up to 30 days.
15. Kazakhstan
Indian citizens can stay in Kazakhstan for up to 14 consecutive days without a visa.
16. Dominica
Dominica is a visa-free country for Indian tourists. Indian citizens can stay in Dominica for up to 180 days without a visa.
17. Haiti
Indian citizens can travel visa-free to Haiti. They can stay without a visa for a maximum of 90 days, provided the purpose of their visit is related to tourism, business or other short-term purposes.
18. Saint Kitts and Nevis
Indian tourists can travel to Saint Kitts and Nevis without a visa. They can stay here for up to 90 days without any visa.
