This train will run between the capital Lucknow and Mumbai. Its route survey has been finalized. The timetable will be released in June. Before this, the date of operation will be announced after a high-level meeting of officials. There is a plan to run the 20-coach AC sleeper Vande Bharat four days a week. Railway operating officials say that for about six months, a survey is being conducted regarding the route to run the Lucknow-Mumbai AC sleeper Vande Bharat Express.
First a survey was conducted to run it from Lucknow to Kanpur, Mathura, Agra to Mumbai route. Then a route survey was conducted from Bareilly to Agra, Mumbai via Aonla, Chandausi, Moradabad, Ghaziabad, Nizamuddin. Later, the final seal was put on the route of AC Sleeper Vande Bharat via Bareilly Junction.
This train will run from Lucknow and go to Mumbai via Hardoi, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly Junction, Rampur, Moradabad, Ghaziabad, Nizamuddin and Agra. This route will make the journey of people from many districts to Mumbai easier. The 20-coach train will have AC, First, Second, Third and two SLR coaches. About 1200 passengers will be able to travel together. Officials say that now the work of the timetable of the train is going on. There are preparations to speed up the AC Vande Bharat Express from July.
The journey will be easy
The number of passengers going to Mumbai is very high, currently only Bareilly-Lokmanya Tilak Express, three trains from Izzatnagar run to Mumbai. Ramnagar-Bandra Express, Lalkuan-Bandra Terminal and the third Kathgodam-Mumbai Central will operate. In which there are many problems regarding seats. Running of Sleeper AC Vande Bharat Express will make it easier for people to go to Mumbai. This train will run at a faster speed than Rajdhani and Shatabdi Express trains.
It is worth noting that the country’s first Vande Bharat train was also run between Varanasi in UP and the country’s capital New Delhi. Now two Vande Bharat trains are being run between Varanasi and New Delhi. Trains depart from Varanasi and New Delhi together every day. Similarly, Vande Bharat runs from both stations in the afternoon.
