Vande Bharat Express: To make rail travel between Delhi and Firozpur more convenient, preparations are underway to launch a new Vande Bharat Express and extend the Moga Intercity Express. The Vande Bharat Express between Delhi and Firozpur was announced last month. It will begin service on November 8th.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off four new ‘Vande Bharat Express’ trains for different cities, including the Delhi-Ferozepur Vande Bharat, by attending a programme in Varanasi on November 8.

The Vande Bharat Express will depart from Firozpur at 7:55 a.m. and reach Delhi at 2:35 p.m. via Bathinda, Dhuri, Patiala, Ambala, Kurukshetra, and Panipat. It will begin its return journey from Delhi at 4:00 p.m. and arrive in Firozpur at 10:30 p.m. It will run six days a week, except Wednesdays.
The Moga-New Delhi Intercity Express will soon be extended to Firozpur. It will depart New Delhi at 7 am and arrive in Firozpur at 3 pm. On its return journey, it will depart Firozpur at 3:35 pm and arrive in New Delhi at 11:35 pm. This will facilitate the travel of both ordinary passengers and soldiers.
