The fare of Vande Bharat train varies according to the distance and route. There are two main categories, AC chair car and executive chair car. For example, the fare for AC chair car from New Delhi to Varanasi is around Rs 1760, while the executive class ticket goes up to Rs 3310. Similarly, a journey from Mumbai to Gandhinagar costs Rs 1385 for AC chair car and Rs 2505 for executive class. The fare may also include food and beverage expenses.

Launch and features of Vande Bharat train
India got its first Vande Bharat train on 15 February 2019. This train runs between Varanasi and Delhi. This semi-high speed train covers a distance of 771 km in about 8 hours. There are only two stoppages on its way like Prayagraj and Kanpur, which makes its journey even faster. The cost of making this train was around Rs 100 crore. The maximum speed of Vande Bharat Express is 180 km per hour, while its average speed is around 96 km per hour.
New initiative of Vande Bharat Train: Sleeper and General Coaches
Indian Railways has now planned to run AC, sleeper and general class coaches in Vande Bharat train, which will provide convenience to more passengers. Along with this, services like Amrit Vande Bharat and Vande Bharat Metro are also being started, which will connect different parts of the country.
