Rain activities are increasing due to the seasonal cyclone formed around the Bay of Bengal and Bihar.

Monsoon withdrawal begins from Rajasthan, will soon reach other states
According to the Meteorological Department, the southwest monsoon has started retreating from western Rajasthan on September 14, three days before its normal date of September 17. Currently, its axis line is passing through Rajasthan, Punjab and parts of Gujarat. It is likely to advance further in the next two days.
Cyclone in Bay of Bengal and Bihar, possibility of rain increased in UP
The low pressure area formed in the west-central Bay of Bengal has weakened, but the cyclonic circulation associated with it is still active. Apart from this, another cyclonic circulation is also formed around eastern Bihar. Due to these two weather systems, the series of rains will continue in Uttar Pradesh for the next few days.
There will be heavy rain in Purvanchal, people may get relief and trouble
The Meteorological Department says that the maximum effect of these seasonal changes will be seen in Purvanchal. There is a possibility of good rain here this week, which on one hand will provide relief from heat and humidity, while on the other hand, heavy rains can also cause waterlogging and traffic problems.
Orange and yellow alerts have been issued in these districts today
Today, an orange alert has been issued for heavy to very heavy rain in Basti, Siddharth Nagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Barabanki and Ayodhya. At the same time, heavy rain (yellow alert) has also been predicted in Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Maharajganj, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Sultanpur, Ambedkar Nagar, Bijnor, Pilibhit and Shahjahanpur.
