There is a possibility of decrease in cloud activity in Uttar Pradesh from Wednesday. However, the weather department has predicted that sporadic drizzle will continue in the northern districts of the state and the districts adjoining Delhi for the next two days.
On Tuesday, light to moderate rain was seen in Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor as well as Delhi NCR. Only light drizzle is expected in eastern UP as well. There is no warning of heavy rain anywhere in the state for Wednesday. According to the Meteorological Department, the activity of monsoon will decrease in UP from Wednesday and there will be sporadic drizzle in the state for the next four to five days.
The Meteorological Department says that due to the effect of another weather system developing in the Bay of Bengal, good monsoon rains will return to UP around August 31. Atul Kumar Singh, senior scientist of the Regional Meteorological Center Lucknow, said that there are signs of light to moderate rain in various areas of UP from August 27.
There is no warning of heavy rain anywhere. Due to the effect of another weather system developing in the Bay of Bengal at the end of August, conditions for good monsoon rains will be created once again around August 31.
