Under the Anna Mahotsav, ration will be given to the people of the state for free.

Lucknow. The preparations for the Anna Mahotsav are almost complete in the state. Now on Thursday, free ration will be distributed to about 80 lakh people. Along with this, on the day of Anna Mahotsav, Prime Minister Modi will also interact with the beneficiaries present at the government ration shops. For the Anna Mahotsav, the PM will interact with the beneficiaries present at selected shops in Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Moradabad, Hamirpur, Ayodhya, Barabanki, Shahjahanpur, Kaushambi, Agra and Bahraich districts. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also attend the program.
However, the day of August 5 is also very important from the point of view of faith because a year ago on this day Prime Minister Modi had laid the foundation stone for the construction of Ram temple. Therefore, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also start the Anna Mahotsav program from Ayodhya itself.

Apart from CM Yogi, all the public representatives including all the ministers, MLAs, district panchayat presidents have been instructed to stay in their respective areas for the programme. With this, instructions have been issued to all the nodal officers from the Chief Secretary’s office to listen to PM Modi’s speech live at all the ration shops and to improve the system of establishing communication. This dialogue of the Prime Minister will take place at 1 pm.
According
to the guidelines issued by the Chief Secretary regarding the nodal officer program, all the nodal officers in the allotted districts have reached a day before on Wednesday. After reaching the districts, the nodal officers took stock of the preparations for the program and reviewed it.
The nodal officers will also review the unfinished works under government schemes, district plans, MP funds, funds of three-tier panchayats and other departmental schemes in the district during this period. All the nodal officers will leave the district only after the completion of the program to be held on Thursday.
The nodal officers will also arrange for the installation of television sets at some shops for the PM’s live program offerings. Along with inviting public representatives in the program, it will be the responsibility of the nodal officers to review the status of availability of adequate police force at the shops.
