Nearly a month has passed since the results of the UP board came. So far 7624 applications for scrutiny have been received at the regional office of the board. Among these are 5581 of Inter. But the problem is how to start scrutiny because after evaluation the copies are still lying in the districts. Scrutiny applications will be considered when they come to the regional office. The Varanasi Regional Office has 15 adjoining districts attached to it. Local authorities are waiting for directions to the board headquarters.

Scrutiny is applied within one month of the result. Answer books are not reevaluated in Scrutiny. Rather, it is checked whether any question in the answerbook has been missed from the evaluation or there is no problem in the sum of marks. Often such disturbances occur every year. Many examinees score high. For this reason, a large number of candidates have applied for scrutiny this time too. They are not satisfied with the result. Most of the students of Scrutney are Inter students. Merit is more important for the students of Inter. On the basis of merit, the importance of number one increases at the time of admission to graduate classes.

The biggest problem facing the Regional Office of the Board in the evaluation centers is that the answer sheets are lying at the evaluation centers. The copies of the Varanasi enclosure are in schools in the districts of the west where they were evaluated. Transportation of these copies could not occur due to corona infection. So it will take some time for the scrutiny to start.
