UP Board Exam 2026: The UP Board has released the calendar for the academic session 2025-26, which gives the complete schedule of practical and written examinations from class 9 to 12. According to this, while the UP Board exams will be held in February 2026, the practicals will be held from January 21.
Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council (UPMSP) has released the academic calendar for the current academic session 2025-26. It has a complete schedule from practical to pre-board and main examinations. It can be downloaded from the official website of the council upmsp.edu.in. According to this, in the academic session starting from 1 April 2025, all classes will have to complete their course by the first week of January 2026. The council has also announced the date of practicals for class 10th and 12th, which will run from 21 January 2026 to 5 February 2026. The written examinations of the students will start in February 2026.
The complete schedule is like this
- Session start date: 1 April 2025
- Monthly Test (MCQ) : 2nd week of May 2025
- Monthly Test (Descriptive Questions): Last week of July 2025
- Half Yearly Practical Exam: Last week of September 2025
- Half-yearly written exam: 2nd and 3rd week of October 2025
- Uploading of Half Yearly Exam Marks: By the first week of November 2025
- Course completion date (for all classes): First week of January 2026
- Class 12 Pre Board Practical Exam: 2nd week of January 2026
- Class 10 and 12 pre-board written exam: 3rd week of January 2026
- Class 9 and 11 annual examination: 3rd week of January 2026
- Checking of copies and uploading of marks (Class 9–11): By the second week of February 2026
- Board Practical Exams (10th–12th): 21 January – 5 February 2026
- Board Main Exam : February 2026 (Date decided by the Board)
Registration of students will be done till August 5
UP Board has started the registration of regular students for the board examinations of the year 2026. Students of class 10th and 12th have to complete their registration by August 5.
Every school will have its own website and social media pages
According to the calendar released by the council, every school will have a website and a social media page on Facebook, X, YouTube etc. Along with this, an email ID will also be created for each student.
