The Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme 2020-21 Series-
4 opened from today. The subscription of the Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme 2020-21 Series-4 has been opened from today i.e. July 6 and will be closed on July 10. The Reserve Bank of India is issuing this bond on behalf of the government.

The issue price
has been fixed at Rs 4852 per gram for a Sovereign Gold Bond at Rs 4852 per gram. The Reserve Bank had already announced that the Sovereign Gold Bond price would be fixed at the simple average of the closing price of 999 purity gold issued by IBJA for the last three working days of the week preceding the subscription.

 

Those applying online and paying will get a discount for
Sovereign Gold Bond, the investors who apply online and pay online will get a rebate of Rs 50 per gram. In this way, they will be able to buy cheap gold at Rs 4802 per gram under Series-4.

 

Who can invest?
Citizens of India living in the country, HUF i.e. Hindu undivided families, trusts, universities and charitable institutions can invest in this government gold bond scheme.

 



How much can one invest?
At least one gram can be invested in this government gold bond scheme and any person or HUF in a financial year can invest up to four kilograms in this scheme. However, these rules are different for trusts and trusts or other institutions can invest up to 20 kg in sovereign gold bonds in a financial year.
