Train Cancelled: 10 Trains will be cancelled from 24 June to 4 July, routes of many have been changed, see full schedule

There will be a mega block from 24 June to 4 July due to the construction of the third line on the Gonda-Barabanki section of the Northeast Railway. Many trains including Gorakhpur-Lucknow Intercity will remain cancelled and the routes of some will be changed. The Railway Safety Commissioner will inspect the new line on 3 and 4 July. During this period, pre-non interlocking work will be done from 24 to 30 June and non-interlocking work will be done from 1 to 4 July.

An 11-day mega block will be taken from 24 June to 4 July in view of the construction work of the third line of Karnailganj-Saryu-Jarwal Road-Ghaghra Ghat (21.41 km) on the Gonda-Barabanki section of the Northeast Railway. During this period, pre-non interlocking work will be done from 24 to 30 June and non-interlocking work will be done from 1 to 4 July.

During this period, ten trains including Gorakhpur-Lucknow Intercity will remain cancelled on different dates. 52 trains will be run by changing the route. Eight trains will stop en route and run. 12 will be controlled. According to Chief Public Relations Officer Pankaj Kumar Singh, the Railway Safety Commissioner will inspect the third rail line and conduct speed trials on July 3 and 4.

  • 22424 Amritsar-Gorakhpur Express running on June 29 and 22423 Gorakhpur-Amritsar Express running from Gorakhpur on June 30.
  • 15031/15032 Gorakhpur-Lucknow Junction-Gorakhpur Intercity Express running from July 1 to 4.
  • 15070 Aishbagh-Gorakhpur Express running from July 1 to 4 and 15069 Gorakhpur-Aishbagh Express running from Gorakhpur from July 2 to 5.
  • 15082/15081 Gomti Nagar-Gorakhpur-Gomti Nagar Express running from July 1 to 4 from Gomti Nagar and Gorakhpur.
  • 14010 Anand Vihar Terminal-Bapudham Motihari Express running on 25, 28, 30 June and 02 July and 14009 Bapudham Motihari-Anand Vihar Terminal Express running from Bapudham Motihari on 26, 29 June and 01 and 03 July.
  • 15033/15034 Lucknow Junction-Patliputra-Lucknow Junction Express running from Lucknow Junction and Patliputra on 01 and 04 July.

  • 15211 Darbhanga-Amritsar Express running from 30 June to 03 July will run via changed route Raxaul-Sagauli-Muzaffarpur-Chhapra Gramin-Varanasi Jn.-Maa Belha Devi Dham Pratapgarh Junction-Alamnagar-Roza.
  • 15212 Amritsar-Darbhanga Express running from 01 to 04 July will run via diverted route Roza-Alamnagar-Maa Belha Devi Dham Pratapgarh Jn.-Varanasi Jn.-Chhapra Gramin-Muzaffarpur-Sagauli-Raxaul.
  • 15109 Chhapra-Mathura Jn. Express running on 25, 27 and 30 June will run via diverted route Chhapra-Bhatni-Mau-Varanasi Jn.-Banaras-Prayagraj Jn.-Kanpur Central.
  • 15110 Mathura Jn.-Chhapra Express running on 02 July will run via diverted route Kanpur Central-Prayagraj Jn.-Banaras-Varanasi Jn.-Aundihar-Mau-Bhatni- Chhapra.
