Thousands of workers gathered at Bandra station in Mumbai. In fact, today the Shramik Special train is going to leave from Bandra station for Bihar. One thousand laborers have been registered for traveling in this train, but thousands of people have reached the station.



There is an atmosphere of chaos outside the station and the police is appealing people to go home. Large number of laborers gathered with women and children carrying their goods. However, taking action, the police is taking action to send all the workers home. Also, a large number of police forces have been deployed.

What is the whole matter

Today the Shramik Express was going to leave from Bandra station for Bihar. For this, the laborers who registered for this were called by the Mumbai Police, but a large number of people reached at 10 am. After this, the police removed the crowd by lathicharge. Then after a while thousands of laborers gathered.

Earlier on April 14, a huge crowd of migrant laborers gathered at Mumbai’s Bandra railway station. All these workers reached the station to go home. The workers hoped that the lockdown (first phase) would end, but due to the havoc of Corona, PM Narendra Modi had extended the lockdown period to 3 May.

 

3 FIRs were registered in connection with the mob in Bandra, Mumbai. In the first FIR, a case was registered against 1000 workers for the charge of not moving despite the appeal. In this case, the police had arrested a person named Vinay Dubey.



Amid the lockdown, Vinay Dubey is accused of misleading the crowd. Vinay Dubey was running the campaign ‘Let’s go home’. In his post shared on Facebook, he had said that the team is in Bandra.
