A county of California in the US has decided that on confirmation of infection with corona virus, a person will be given about 94 thousand rupees. People will be given these money to help pay for food expenses, rent and phone bills.
The Board of Supervisors of Alameda County, California, says that many people cannot afford to remain quarantine and isolate for two weeks after being infected. For this reason, a decision has been taken to help them.
According to the Los Angeles Times report, the county board unanimously decided to pay 94,000 rupees on confirmation of the corona under the pilot program. The board says that if people start getting scared of getting tested or cannot isolate, then the plan to stop the virus will not be successful.

To get help of 94 thousand rupees, a person will have to undergo a test in the concerned clinic. It will also be necessary that the person is not getting paid sick leave, nor is he already receiving unemployment allowance.
Alameda County of America hopes that people will be motivated to isolate themselves if infected after the new decision and because of this, more people will come forward to get tested.
