TCS Bench Policy Latest Update: TCS has now come up with new work rules for its employees. Which have also been implemented. In this, the 35-day rule is the most important.

TCS New Bench Policy 2025: Now the fun-filled job in TCS will not last long. The company has implemented a new rule for the employees. In which it is clearly stated that now if you sit without work for 35 or more days, then your salary, promotion and career growth may stop. Apart from this, you may also have to lose your job. This new rule has come into effect from June 12. According to the TCS new bench policy, now every employee will have to work at least 225 days a year.

A company document reviewed by TOI states that at any time employees should get work for at least 225 business days in the last 12 months. The company has said that employees who remain without work for a long time will have a bad effect on their salary, career growth and opportunities to work abroad. They may even lose their jobs.

Will have to find the project yourself

According to the company, if an employee does not get any project, then he will have to find work himself. It is not that you are happily passing time sitting idle. According to the new policy, if an employee is unemployed, then he will have to contact RMG himself and find work. The company considers such employees as “Unallocated resources”, who have been removed from a project by RMG and are looking for new work.

Learn new skills

According to the new rules of TCS regarding jobs, employees who do not have work or who are sitting idle, will have to work to improve their skills. For this, 4 to 6 hours will have to be spent in learning every day. For this, they can use internal platforms like iEvolve, Fresco Play and VLS and external platforms like LinkedIn. They will have to complete all the necessary training, attend in-person sessions and keep updating their skills.

Officers will have to come and work

In such a situation, TCS has made it mandatory to come to the office and work to complete the projects faster. Work-from-home or flexible work is not allowed. However, employees can opt for flexible work for some time by taking approval from RMG in case of personal emergency. TCS has also forbidden employees from repeatedly taking small assignments in different projects. The company says that doing so can lead to HR investigation and disciplinary action can also be taken.

TCS was asked for a response via email about this new policy, but no response was received till the time of writing the news. The new policy aims to make employees more productive and help achieve the company’s goals. It remains to be seen how successful this policy proves to be for both the employees and the company.
