TCS latest update: Big news for employees! No work from home in TCS, TCS has changed the rules

Employees of the country’s largest IT company TCS (TCS Deployment Policy) have received many big shocks. The company has made many major changes in its HR policy. These changes are going to have a direct impact on the employees. Now employees will have to come to the office to work. Apart from completely ending the Work From Home policy, TCS has made many big changes.

TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) has recently decided to change its Deployment Policy. The purpose of this change is to connect the employees of the company with Upskill. For this, the company has made many changes related to the employees.

What has changed in the HR Policy?

The company has decided that it will no longer offer Work from Home to any employees. However, the company will still provide Flexible Work option in some emergency situations. But this will also be available only after RMG approval.

With this, now it is mandatory for the employees to work 225 days a year. Apart from this, the Bench time of the employees has been fixed for 35 days.

What is Bench Time?

Most of the work in an IT company is project based. Big companies like TCS hire people in large numbers. Some of them work on projects. The rest wait for future projects. This waiting is called Bench time.

According to the changes in the company, now this Bench time should not be more than 35 days. At the same time, those employees who have not been placed in any project will have to spend 4 to 6 hours in Upskilling.
