Documents required for instant passport
According to the Passport Seva website, while applying for instant passport, you have to submit any three of the following documents:
- Aadhaar card or e-Aadhaar

How long does it take to get an instant passport?
According to the passport service website, when your application form is successfully submitted, its final status appears as ‘Granted’. After this, you can expect your passport to be sent on the third working day, excluding the date of submission of the application. Police verification report is not awaited for this.

- People who are children of Indian parents but born outside India.
- People who have been granted citizenship by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
