SpiceJet will charge Rs 100 service fee for using the check-in counter at the airport

To promote web check-in, private air line company Spicejet has decided to charge fees from users using its check-in counter. For this, the company will now charge a fee of Rs 100 from the passengers. Web check-in has now been made mandatory. The company said that to check in online, one has to visit our website or app. You will get a boarding pass for free 60 minutes before the flight. In addition, you can also check in at the air port. However, it will cost Rs 100. SpiceJet has given this information via tweet.




Prior to this, Indigo has implemented such service from 17 October. The company has started charging Rs 100 to check in at the airport. The company has issued a statement saying that we are encouraging travelers through our website or mobile app for web check-in as per government instructions. Check-in fees at airport counters apply to all bookings. Which has come into effect from 17 October.

SpiceJet has announced 8 new flights from November 5 under the air bubble agreement between India and Bangladesh.
