Indian Railways has completed preparations to put the country’s first sleeper Vande Bharat Express on track. This train can start running between Patna and New Delhi before Diwali.
This train will stop at major stations like Prayagraj, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction and Kanpur Central. This royal train will be faster and more convenient than Rajdhani Express. The sleeper Vande Bharat train has been designed for a maximum speed of 180 kilometers per hour and its trial run has already been successfully completed.
The train set has been delivered to Shakarpur shed in Delhi. Special attention has been given to the safety and convenience of the passengers in this train. It will have state-of-the-art facilities like CCTV cameras, LED screens, automatic doors, fire safety system, public announcement system and visual display.
Train timings
According to the railways, the sleeper Vande Bharat train will depart from Patna at 8 pm and reach New Delhi at 7:30 am. That is, the total journey will be completed in about 11 hours 40 minutes, while the Rajdhani Express takes 12 hours 30 minutes to cover the same distance. According to sources, the fare of this train can be 10 to 15 percent higher than the Rajdhani Express. However, the travel time in less time and more facilities can make this extra amount worthwhile for the passengers.
Big benefit for the passengers of Prayagraj
Due to this train passing through Prayagraj, now the passengers here will save time in travelling to Delhi and Patna. This train can prove to be a relief gift especially for the passengers traveling during the festive season.
