Schools, colleges and Anganwadi centres will remain closed for these many days

School Holiday : There is big news for school students. Due to heavy rains and festivals, school holidays have been declared in many states. Children are getting the benefit of this.

In some places, the administration has declared holiday due to weather conditions, whereas in other places, holidays have been declared in schools on account of local festivals and special occasions.

Holidays in these states

In Nagaur, Rajasthan, collector Arun Kumar Purohit has declared holiday in all schools up to 12th standard and Anganwadi centres from 29th to 30th August in view of heavy rains and animals, while in Manali and Kallu sub divisions of Himachal, all educational institutions have been closed for two days.

Schools will open from September 1

Instructions have been given to keep schools closed in Orissa as well. Along with this, a holiday has also been declared in government offices today. In Punjab, all government and private schools will remain closed till August 30, while a holiday has been declared in all government and private schools of Jammu Sabha till August 30. As August 31 is a Sunday, schools will be reopened from September 1.

There will be holidays in schools for so many days in September

  • Schools will remain closed on September 4 and 5 due to Onam and Teachers’ Day
  • Holiday has been declared in many states on 5th September due to Eid Milad
  • Holiday has been declared in Maharashtra on Anant Chaturdashi due to 6 September Saturday
  • 7th September Weekly Holiday
  • 13 September second Saturday
  • Sunday, September 14th
  • Sunday 21 September
  • There will be a holiday in schools from September 22 due to Navratri
  • 27th September is the fourth Saturday and
  • Schools will be closed on Sunday, 28 September
  • Holiday has been declared in schools of Tripura, UP, Assam and West Bengal on September 30 due to Maha Ashtami of Durga Puja.

In such a situation, students will get the benefit of a long holiday in the month of September. Due to Durga Puja, a holiday of up to 13 days has been announced in schools in many states. At the same time, a holiday of 10 days has been announced till Durga Puja in many states.
