All educational institutions including schools and colleges in Punjab’s Ferozepur, Pathankot, Fazilka, Amritsar, Tarn Taran and Gurdaspur districts will remain closed till May 11. Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains wrote on X – In view of the situation, all schools, colleges and universities in Punjab will remain closed for the next 3 days. Punjab University has also ordered the cancellation of examinations. There will be a holiday in Panchkula on May 9 and May 10. In Himachal Pradesh, schools and colleges will remain closed only in Una.
Ambala Deputy Commissioner has declared holidays for all schools due to the possibility of Pakistan attacking Ambala. The principals of the schools have also taken the responsibility of sending the children safely to their homes as per the orders of Ambala DC.
Jammu Kashmir School Closed: Schools are also closed in Jammu and Kashmir
