School Holidays: Three consecutive days of holidays announced in schools…

School Holidays: All government schools in Haryana will remain closed for three days. The state government has declared a local holiday for Karwa Chauth on Friday. This will be followed by a holiday on the second Saturday of the month, and then the next day is Sunday.

This means that schools will reopen on Monday. The state government has declared four local holidays in schools, in addition to the public and optional holidays in the official calendar. These include Good Friday, Buddha Purnima, Karva Chauth and Guru Tegh Bahadur Martyrdom Day.

Schools will remain closed on November 25 on the martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur. Students who had already enjoyed holidays for Gandhi Jayanti, Dussehra and Valmiki Jayanti in October will soon get additional holidays for festivals. These include Diwali, Vishwakarma Jayanti, Chhath Puja and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Jayanti.

In fact, schools in Haryana will remain closed on October 10, 2025 for Karwa Chauth. This has been announced by the government. All government schools across the state will remain closed on Karwa Chauth so that people associated with the education department can celebrate Karwa Chauth. Apart from this, the government has also declared a holiday in all schools in the state on the martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. Similarly, a holiday has been declared in all government schools in the state on Tuesday, November 25.
