SBI launches ‘Pension Service’ website for pensioners, now online information will be available including pension profile and transaction details

This will benefit 54 lakh pensioners of SBI
There will be no extra charge

The country’s largest bank SBI has launched a pension service website for pensioners. Now, by logging on to this website, customers can get information about their pension. Now, you will not have to go to the bank for many tasks like finding the pension profile and transaction details. SBI has named this website ‘SBI Pension Service’. This will benefit 54 lakh pensioners of SBI.

It’s very easy to use

In order to take advantage of the pension service website, the customer has to first register for this to go to https://www.pensionseva.sbi/.
Click on the registration tab at the top here.
Create a user ID with a minimum of 5 characters.
Enter your pension account number, date of birth, bank branch code and your email id registered in the branch.
After this, confirm it by entering a new password.
Answer the question by choosing 2 profile questions and save it for future reference.
After registration, a mail will be sent to the registered email ID of the pensioner. There will be a link for account activation.
Once the account is activated, the pensioner can log into the website with the registered ID and password.

SBI also started a new scheme
State Bank of India (SBI) has recently started a new deposit scheme for senior citizens under the name SBI VCare. Senior citizens will get more interest in this scheme. The scheme has been launched under the retail term deposit segment. In this scheme, senior citizens will get 0.80% more than the interest from the common FD. This scheme will be applicable only till 30 September 2020. Only customers who register under this scheme will get the benefit within the stipulated period.

SBI has also re-launched the Insta Saving Bank account with the facility of opening an online account . Under this, Insta Savings Account can be opened online from home. For this, there will be no need to provide papers physically. In order to open this savings account, customers have to download SBI’s YONO app. After this, the customer will have to give the information of Yono App PAN and Aadhaar number. Insta digital saving bank account will open after entering this information on Yono app.
