SBI FD Interest Rate 2025: Big News! SBI has changed interest rates on FD, see what is the new interest rate now

SBI has changed the interest rates of its FD and released new rates. In such a situation, if you are also investing in SBI FD, then first you must know about the new FD rates. The new interest rates of SBI FD are coming into effect from today i.e. 15th July.

Whenever it comes to investing money, most people prefer to invest their money in bank FD. The reason for this is safe investment., Money is safe in bank FD. The return received along with it is also already fixed. In such a situation, common people consider FD as the best option to invest. If you are also an FD investor, then this news is going to be very important for you.

The country’s largest public sector bank, State Bank of India i.e. SBI, offers many FDs of different tenures to its customers. These FDs offer returns at different interest rates. Now SBI has changed the interest rates of its FD and released new rates. In such a situation, if you are also investing in SBI FD, then first you must know about the new FD rates. The new interest rates of SBI FD are coming into effect from today i.e. 15th July.
New rates of SBI FD

SBI has cut the rates of its FDs of 46 days and less than 1 year by 15 basis points i.e. 0.15 percent. The interest rates of FDs of 46 days to 179 days have now become 4.90 percent from 5.05 percent. The interest rates of FDs of 180 days to 210 days have become 5.65 percent from 5.80 percent. Along with this, the interest rates of FDs of 211 days to less than 1 year have now become 5.90 percent from 6.05 percent. This reduction of 0.15 percent is also applicable for senior citizens.

Let us tell you that SBI offers FDs to its customers with a duration of 7 days to 10 years, in which general citizens get a return of 3.05 percent to 6.45 percent. For senior citizens, these interest rates range from 3.55 percent to 7.05 percent.
