New Delhi: There is big news for the ration card holders. For the first time, the government is giving many big facilities to the ration card holders. Now ration card related services will also be available in more than 3.7 lakh Common Service Centers (CSCs) across the country. These services include applying for a new ration card, updating and linking it with Aadhaar. This move of the government will benefit 23.64 crore ration card holders across the country. Digital India has given this information on its official Twitter account that, ‘Common Service Center Suvidha has signed an MoU with the Department of Food and Public Distribution under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. With this, ration card services will be made available through 3.70 lakh CSCs across the country. This partnership is expected to benefit more than 23.64 crore ration card holders across the country.
