The Railways is resuming several cancelled trains. Passengers are urged to check train timings, stoppages, and routes before their journey by calling the helpline number 139 or visiting the Railways website.

Keeping the festive season in mind, Northern Railway has decided to resume services on several cancelled trains. These trains will resume operations in a phased manner starting October 15th.

According to the Railways, the major trains being resumed include New Delhi-Jammu Tawi Rajdhani Express, Jammu Tawi-New Delhi Rajdhani Express, Nanded-Jammu Tawi Humsafar Express, Sabarmati-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Express and Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan Superfast Express running from Kota, Indore, Durg and Pathankot.

Some trains will currently operate on shorter routes, such as the Bandra Terminus–Jammu Tawi Vivek Express, which has been limited to Ludhiana, while others will have shorter origins from Ludhiana, Amritsar, Ambala, or Jalandhar Cantt. The resumption of these trains will provide significant relief to passengers.

Railways has appealed to the passengers to get information about train timings, stoppages and route before their journey through helpline number 139 or on the railway website.
