RRB JE Recruitment 2025: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced a significant opportunity for engineering candidates.
A major notification has been issued for a total of 2,569 Junior Engineer (JE) positions. B.Tech/B.E. and diploma holders can apply online from October 31, 2025, to December 10, 2025. The application process has begun on the official website, rrbguwahati.gov.in, and this time, thousands of engineering candidates will be eligible for this position across all RRBs.
This recruitment drive, issued under CEN No. 05/2025, includes the positions of Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA). The Railways has placed special emphasis on qualifications and technical skills in this recruitment process. RRB JE Recruitment 2025: Application Fee
The application fee is ₹500 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, while it is ₹250 for SC, ST, Persons with Disabilities, Women, and Ex-Servicemen candidates. No fee will be charged for transgender candidates. The form will be accepted only after the application fee is paid, which will be confirmed via email and SMS.
RRB JE Recruitment 2025: What is the selection process?
The age limit is 18 to 33 years as of January 1, 2026, while the selection process will be conducted in four stages: CBT-I, CBT-II, document verification, and medical examination. These railway technical positions fall under the Level 6 pay scale, with a starting salary of ₹35,400, which increases further with allowances.

Eligibility criteria include a three-year diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Production, Civil, Automobile, Instrumentation, or related engineering disciplines.
