Purnia Airport Ticket Booking Starts – Check New Direct Flight Destinations

Purnia Airport: Ticket booking for Purnia Airport has started. There will be direct flight service to Kolkata, Delhi and Ahmedabad. However, it will be started after the inauguration by PM Narendra Modi. The terminal building will be inaugurated in Purnia at a cost of about Rs 350 crore.

Flights are going to start soon from Purnia Airport. Booking of tickets for flights from this airport has also started. But, the service will start only after the inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The code of Purnia Airport ‘PXN’ has started appearing on Indigo’s site. Booking of flights between Delhi and Purnia is being done on the site.

Direct flights to these three places

According to the information, initially IndiGo will operate direct flights from Purnea to Kolkata and Delhi. While Star Air will start direct flight service from Purnea to Kolkata and Ahmedabad. Apart from these two, talks are also going on regarding the flight service of Indian Airlines and SpiceJet. However, official information is awaited from the Airport Authority.

It is being prepared with 350 crores

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Purnia Airport on 15 September. On this day, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of the second terminal building to be built at a cost of about 350 crores. The opening of this new airport will give a new direction to the development of Kosi and Seemanchal. A long-standing demand is now going to be fulfilled.

It will become the biggest airport of Bihar

Talking about the work done so far in Purnia Airport, the construction of the terminal building along with the runway has been completed in the first phase. The terminal building under construction will have a capacity of 300 passengers at a time. It is being said that later it will become the largest airport in Bihar. In the first phase, Purnia Airport is being made a state of the art airport at a cost of about Rs 400 crore.

All these facilities will be available

Regarding the facilities, it was told that there will be many facilities like apron, terminal building, cargo complex, AC chiller plant, STP, water and fire tank, electric sub station, aviation fuel farm, admin office, commercial plaza, surface parking, aerobridge etc.
