Schools and offices remained closed on November 10 and 11 due to the Jubilee Hills assembly by-election. Schools and offices will also remain closed on November 14, the day of counting of votes.

The government has announced this. Hyderabad District Magistrate Harichandana Dasari has declared a paid holiday for all offices and institutions in view of the Jubilee Hills assembly by-election. November 10 and 11 have already been holidays due to the work of the by-elections. Now, November 14, the day of counting, has also been declared a holiday.

The order said that this holiday will be applicable to offices and institutions where polling or counting centres are set up. The aim is to provide an opportunity for employees to participate in voting and strengthen the democratic process.

Collector Harichandana Dasari had said that the paid holiday will be applicable to government schools and offices that are polling or counting centres in the Jubilee Hills assembly constituency.

He said that this holiday is mainly for schools, as teachers will be on election duty and in many places voting will take place in these schools or offices. Apart from this, all government offices in the area were also given a holiday, as many of their employees were voters.

These holidays were given on November 10, a day before the elections, and on November 11, the day of the elections. Now, schools and offices will remain closed on November 14, the day of counting of votes. The government has announced this.
